#reblog #short comic #tw deathA short comic about missing someone you don’t know anymore but who used to mean a lot to you (and also she’s maybe haunting you, not entirely benevolently, as you drive eighteen hours back up the coast)
After a million years I finally made another Pretty Boy comic! A rather esoteric subject I think, but I was pondering about my childhood again. I had a pretty liberal upbringing, but even so I feel like some of the ways that I was raised as a girl were damaging later in life (I do plan on touching on that more in a future comic.) But this mindset of “I’m not like other girls because my interests are ‘boy-coded’ or “nerdy” and that makes me better than them” was not only damaging to my progress in realizing I was a man, but also misogynist.
Trans masc people have to reflect on the misogyny we internalize
I’m not crying, you’re crying!!
Couldn’t find the reblog button though all the tears in my eyes

These aren’t tears in my eyes….Nope…Dust…Totally dust or an eye lash..
DAMN IT ALL! I CRY LIKE A BITCH EVERY TIME!

Written in the Bones. New comic, written by Christopher M. Jones & illustrated by Carey Pietsch.
I’m hoping to have printed copies of this at MOCCA, ABPCC, and TCAF this spring, and SPX in the fall! More info to come.
Me and Carey worked really hard on this comic; if you got something from it I’d love for you to reblog it, and maybe even buy a copy from Carey when she’s in town or even if she’s not. Thanks so much for reading.
I’ve read this before, but each time I come back to it, it touches me differently.
It’s such an unfamiliar and yet intimately familiar way of vocalising grief.
This entire comic is gold.
Short comic I drew for the Oath Anthology, a queer super hero anthology, last year.
My favorite kind of heroes are idealistic teens who are still learning. So I decided to draw a story about that.
this is either the dumbest thing I’ve ever made or the culmination

This panel will be starting at 5pm est on August 21st. If you’re interested in watching and don’t want to miss it the Webcomic Library Con will be streaming this free virtual panel on Twitch. We hope to see you there!
