    Summary:

    Monster Lands is a fantasy/dramedy story that focuses on the axe-wielding, monster-riding adventurer Othera as she battles against the tyranny of the evil queen Eren Lorry! It’s largely a character-driven story, written as sort of a deconstruction of fantasy tropes while also being a love letter to the genre. It is made of numerous short, standalone chapters which form the base for the longer, plot-intensive chapters.

    There is violence and blood in the comic. There are some scenes of terrible parenting which might upset some people. There are occasional adult situations.

    Yes! The main characters are an ace lesbian (with a later romance), a gay man (with a romance central to his plot), a pan woman (with a later romance), and a bi aro man. The secondary characters are a pan trans man, an ace bi woman, a young bi girl, a couple of young lesbians, and a young trans man. There’s also several important, non-focused-on nonbinary people, but I’m not sure they count as relevant enough to get properly listed.

    Yes, Emmanuel (major character) is missing a limb (his left leg), Valeriya (protag) has burn-induced muscle damage to her right arm, Richard (secondary) suffers from severe anxiety and gender dysphoria, Kai (minor) is agoraphobic, Michail (protag) deals with a combination of depression and depersonalisation-derealisation disorder, and Minnie (minor) has arthritis that results in the need of a walking cane.

    You can do either! The primary difference is that when you submit via my submission page on tumblr, I will post it on my tumblr page ASAP for other peeps to see! With email, however, I feel it’s a bit easier to keep track of conversations about the info I use. Eventually I hope to standardize my current submission system, but I have other aspects of my blog to cover before I tackle that.

    I am plotting to eventually introduce weekly posts to this blog, including a weekly submission spotlight. I’ll probably cover email submissions first when I get that enacted!

    Excellent! Every submission helps!

     With Hiatus it doesn’t matter for submission. I only mark hiatus when it’s indefinite or a comic has refrained for comic updates for over a year. I’ll probably come up with a system for “abandoned” comics in the future, however that’s a change for another time.

    The most recent changes to my submission template are what year the comic started and if the comic comes in any other languages other than english.

    I also made specific requests for pictures (Banners and Icons), however I can work with whatever I can get, like the illustration you sent me. I just ask for illustrations that can can show off the name and artstyle of the comic.

    Tara has lost all direction in her life. After resigning her ordination as a buddhist nun (bhikkhuni) two years ago, she looks for purpose in mercenary work- but doesn’t find what she expects. With old and new friends alike, the wheel of her life is about to spin and bring her places she never thought possible.

    This webcomic is fun fantasy story set in a world where buddhism is firmly established alongside it’s usual mythology! It’s my first webcomic, but I’ve been trying my hardest to make it better with every page.
