I wanna thank every single one of the 100 people that officially follow this blog. Most came from my relentless activity on Illuminating Comics, and while I will always love doing that, and I’m glad for all the attention that has gotten me over the course of the years, it’s Mad Magic the one project I feel really proud of. It’s a concept I’ve been wainting to make for YEARS but never had the courage to do because I lacked conviction in my writing and art.
The opening story arc, Welcome to Blight Court has remained basically unchanged since the first time I wrote down the skeleton of it, almost seven years ago. And again, SIX MONTHS passed between me drawing the First Page to me Posting the First page, all because I wasn’t sure if people would’ve given a shit about it.
But a lot of you did, a lot of you DO, and I thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for even the idea of your presence is enough for me to keep on going.

As of December 31st, 2020 Smackjeeves has closed. The site was a major pillar of webcomic culture, being one of the first webcomic specific sites out there and still pretty popular before it updated last year and caused a mass exodus from the site. The loss of this site is a tragedy with the variation of hosting sites slimming and the loss of many comics exclusive to the site.

Yo peeps! As many of you know, I keep my Library of all the webcomics I follow on Tagpacker. Tagpacker has been adding new features with the most recent being a way to exclude tags on searches! This is super cool cause that means you can sort out trigger warnings when looking for a new webcomic to read or any other thing you might not be interested in. All you have to do is enter in the tag to the archive search bar and click the dot next to the tag.
This is one of the two things I wish they had when I started using the site hence why I’m super pumped! The only thing left is to allow me to organize the order of the Tags and Tagpacks, cause not even the page counts are in order and it frustrates me. But this is still a big thing that helps me as a user and yall as searchers.

Questables is a webcomic adventure following a dwarven monk, Robin, as she embarks on her first big quest! As she travels she meets plenty of folks on the road, and soon enough her one-woman mission turns into a tight knit family adventure.
Questables is filled with good vibes and domestic moments, and pays homage to many classic tabletop RPG elements in a comic strip format. Its full cast of six adventurers are all LGBT and POC, featuring genderqueer, asexual, aromantic, gay and bisexual characters. It aims to be a source of positive representation and will always take constructive critique from readers.

Summary: Rain is a slice-of-life/comedy/drama that follows the life of a teenage transgender girl named Rain, as she attempts to go through her senior year in high school identifying only as a woman. Along the way, she makes friends with an eclectic bunch of people of varying orientations and gender identities. See their stories filled with silly humor, teenage angst, occasional adult angst, copious amounts of love triangles, mockery of product names, complex relationships, tons and tons of dialogue, and sometimes a cute, little bunny.
