Summary:
In the city of Creston many hunters have been gathered together to eliminate all monstrous creatures. Leonard Derrin is one of the hunters within these hunting units, and despite having only a year of experience under his belt, he has managed to become very successful.

I’m going through all of my masterpost mentioned comics right now and adding on and editing links. I’m currently debating on merchandise links. Quite a few creators sell art and comic related stuff on various websites like independent stores, Gumroad, Redbubble, etsy, etc. On one hand masterposts are more geared toward an audience looking for new content so stores right off the bat might not be relevant and a bit overkill. On the flip side I also have a goal of boosting creators and one of those way can involve boosting where they sell their work.

to be fair almost no creators have a link for every single thing I have listed on this template.
So should I include merchandise stores in my lineups, not bother because it wouldn’t be relevant enough info, or should I make it conditional like only if it involves official merch for a comic or print copies of the comic in question?

Yes this would be something that I would have to research for manually. But, about 99 percent of everything I do involving this blog is researched manually. And I do mean EVERYTHING. All the links and pictures on masterposts, every tag of every comic in my library, even the reblogs and singleboost you see on your dash from this blog are farmed and researched manually by me. The ONLY times that the info you’re seeing isn’t something I found personally is when Creators submit their comics using the template I made, which covers ever detail I use in both my library and the masterposts I make OR if I am working on a masterpost and am struggling to find the info I need to properly promote a comic, both of which is rare. Other than that, it’s just a part of my hobby.
With that in mind yes it is an extra step. However, the reason why I’m updating my masterpost info right now is that I’ve been wanting to add new links to my lineup for a while. For reference I am adding Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and DeviantArt links for everything. Since I started this blog well over a year ago I haven’t really gone into my masterpost info and edited anything since I first mentioned a comic. I’ve mentioned over 300 comics in masterposts, so I figured I would hit three birds with one stone since I also wanted to experiment with different media outlets. I ask this question now so I can already start integrating this step to my process while I’m changing things up anyways.
This blog is really a thing I do not only for others but also myself. I have built this blog from the ground up on my own. Despite all of the stuff I’ve had to go through to be here now, despite the disabilities that have hindered me “moving forward” in the ways everyone expected me to… I have made something absolutely amazing. Despite my limitations, I have made something beautiful, and there is no limit to how beautiful this thing can become. I make these projects for myself because I know what I am capable of when I am given the time, and I can make the time. I just need to know that if what I am doing is worthwhile.

I’m going through all of my masterpost mentioned comics right now and adding on and editing links. I’m currently debating on merchandise links. Quite a few creators sell art and comic related stuff on various websites like independent stores, Gumroad, Redbubble, etsy, etc. On one hand masterposts are more geared toward an audience looking for new content so stores right off the bat might not be relevant and a bit overkill. On the flip side I also have a goal of boosting creators and one of those way can involve boosting where they sell their work.
