Summary: Chary and Walt are a devoted longtime gay couple who currently live in Port Exemplar, a huge city on the Pacific Northwest coast. Theirs is a comic book world; full of people with strange powers and abilities, aliens, magic, and all sorts of other weird nonsense. Port Exemplar is the superhero capital of the world, headquarters of the Metahuman Affairs Coadunation, aka MAC, the huge organization that tracks all super-powered people, and the couple’s employer. Providing hero licensing and support as needed, and doing damage control for metas who turn to crime, MAC is based in a large island fortress just off the mainland.In the midst of all this, Chary and Walt are happy and content (even after a tragic incident Chary experienced a while back), living their lives and doing their thing. But it’s now starting to dawn on the couple that despite everything exciting going on all around them, maybe their lives have gotten a little too stagnant..
