Tara has lost all direction in her life. After resigning her ordination as a buddhist nun (bhikkhuni) two years ago, she looks for purpose in mercenary work- but doesn’t find what she expects. With old and new friends alike, the wheel of her life is about to spin and bring her places she never thought possible.

This webcomic is fun fantasy story set in a world where buddhism is firmly established alongside it’s usual mythology! It’s my first webcomic, but I’ve been trying my hardest to make it better with every page.

Possible trigger warnings: violence (it will have this), sexual themes (comic is generally PG-13), religious themes

Updates every Friday! During times like school breaks I’ll switch to twice a week, but if that happens I’ll let readers know.

Yes! The main characters are an ace lesbian (with a later romance), a gay man (with a romance central to his plot), a pan woman (with a later romance), and a bi aro man. The secondary characters are a pan trans man, an ace bi woman, a young bi girl, a couple of young lesbians, and a young trans man. There’s also several important, non-focused-on nonbinary people, but I’m not sure they count as relevant enough to get properly listed.

Do you have any characters with physical or mental disabilities? If so, what kind?

Yes, Emmanuel (major character) is missing a limb (his left leg), Valeriya (protag) has burn-induced muscle damage to her right arm, Richard (secondary) suffers from severe anxiety and gender dysphoria, Kai (minor) is agoraphobic, Michail (protag) deals with a combination of depression and depersonalisation-derealisation disorder, and Minnie (minor) has arthritis that results in the need of a walking cane.

Summary

Langford Cove is in the center of the most interesting part of Texas. Every place has strange occurrences, especially on the frontier, but for some reason just about anything is possible in Texas. Especially in Langford Cove.

The year is somewhere around 1850, perhaps earlier or later, one really can’t be sure. Langford Cove has all the trappings and interesting inhabitants of a Texas frontier town.

There’s Sheriff Pete, the iron law who ain’t scared of nothing because, well there’s not much that can hurt a man with no skin, guts, or blood.

What’s a town without a saloon? Cove’s is run by one Etta Price, resident barkeep, healer, and magicker.

Oh and me? Well I’m just your typical vaquero,  making a life on the trails.  But … I have been getting mixed up with some out of the ordinary folks and situations. I mean, even out of the ordinary for Texas.

My name is Benjamin Carver, and I have been doing webcomics since 2005.  Majestic Knight is my latest superhero webcomic, something I’ve been working on for decades.  It’s a modern day tale of modern-day Knights.  Some Arthurian references, a little dark vigilante superhero comic, and a good mix of action.   The comic is black and white and updates 5 days a week.  I’ve done this type of update schedule on this and my past webcomics for over 10 years without missing updates.  Majestic Knight’s been going on for a little over two and a half years now, with an archive of over 600 pages published.  

Our genre is what one could call 4-color Superhero.  

I have no LGBT characters at this time, but I don’t see an issue if there were one.

The latest storyarc introduces a character, a young girl who has a form of autism.

My comic is currently English-only.

LGBT characters: Yes. The MC (Jack) is a gay trans man, and the remainder have sexualities ranging anywhere from bi/pan, to lesbian, to ace. Other Binary and Nonbinary trans people are also represented! There’s literally only two characters who aren’t canonically LGBT.

Disabilities: Yes! There are amputee characters, blind/Deaf characters, and characters on the spectrum (Specifically: autism, ADHD, and Tourettes). There’s also representation of mental illnesses, such as OCD, Bipolar disorder, DID and PTSD.

Languages: English is the only available language currently. It’s a goal of mine to eventually have translations if I can get this off the ground!
