4 year Anniversary!

What started as a personal collection for my own personal reference and to recommend things to friends got turned into a blog and public database this day 4 years ago. 

When I started the library was just had 200 comics with 7 pages of categories and an 8th for odds and ends links that were related to comics. Today the Webcomic Library Tagpacker has 1751 comics with 16 categories for others to sort through and find a comic that speaks to them. The Webcomic Library also started on tumblr but now has expanded to have an audience on Twitter, Pillowfort, and Discord. On top of that I’ve gotten the opportunity to do things I’ve only dreamed of like collaborate with creators, do interviews to talk about the Library, and have the Library be part of the Library of Congress’s digital archives.

So much love and passion has gone into the library over the years. It’s become a huge part of my life and has changed me for the better. I’ve been able to learn so much through others and my own experimentation, read so many stories that both make me laugh and leave me in awe, and met so many people through the project with some I’d even consider close friends. I still have so many things I want to do with the Webcomic Library that I can’t wait to get to. I really hope you all with continue following the library along on it’s adventure.
